French diplomas
The DELF and DALF are official French language proficiency qualifications administered and awarded by
the French Ministry of Education. They are the only official French language proficiency qualifications. The diploma you receive is
valid for life and recognised worldwide. Watch this presentation video.
They are available at 6 different levels. The DELF, for beginners and intermediate learners, at A1-A2-B1-B2. The DALF,
for advanced-level candidates, at C1-C2.
Each exam assesses the four skills:
- listening
- reading
- speaking
- writing.
There are 4 sessions per year.
